Hello everyone!! I'm Angela's new Associate Photographer and am very excited to do my first blog post. My name is Amy Campbell and I am thrilled to be a part of the Angela Anderson Photography Studio! I plan to blog here often and cannot wait to share my work and perspectives to help you to get to know me. My husband and I just celebrated our first anniversary this summer. Cheers to a great year! Wedding planning is very fresh in my mind and find myself offering advice to my engaged friends because I want every wedding to be magnificent. I've even kept my planner and binder that I would lug around everywhere I went! I had a guy at jewelry store start flipping through my binder as I was picking out beads to make my necklace. He said with a smile, "I bet you were an A-student." What can I say? I love grand events!
In the past few months we bought our first home and these days I find myself covered in drywall dust instead of my veil. We are remodeling pretty much every room at once. It very challenging to constantly learn new things but we are working together and look forward to having a great open house party - it just may not be this year :) Of course, I love anything with design and colors which made it difficult deciding on paint.
Ever since I met Angela and saw her work I was amazed and filled with emotions from her photographs. I was drawn to her artistic images and knew we would work well together. Although we've been very busy shooting weddings together, we haven't had much time to work together in the studio.
So now for the best part-
Saturday, October 13, 2007 we are hosting a Portrait Party all day with several mini-sessions. I'm looking for engagement sessions, Mr & Mrs couple session (an engagement session for the already-married folks!), lights out sessions, and bridal portraits. Since this is my studio debut, I am giving the the mini-sessions away for FREE!!! Get ready to have a blast! We will be going around town to parks and urban areas as well as in the studio for tons of different looks. To ensure we get a variety of different styles, looks, hair colors, etc., please send a photo with a few lines describing your style and why you should be chosen for a free mini-session. If you are wanting a bridal session, please also send a photo (if you have one) of the dress to help us plan a great session to enhance the aesthetic personality of the dress. Please send all entries to BLISS@ANGELA-PHOTO.COM by midnight Saturday, October 6, 2007. Christina, our studio and client director, will notify you by October 8 if you have been chosen. Looking forward to meeting you!
