Christie woo'ed me the first time we met. She brought me fruits from her father's garden. It was such a thoughtful and wonderful gift, I left our meeting thinking "I cannot wait for her wedding day!"
I had photographed Christie's cousin's wedding back in 2005 and remembered her from the day. I was so excited when she contacted me, wanting me to her photographer. I also knew that I would see her cousin, Cat, at her wedding and that would be awesome since I have not seen Cat since the wedding.
Christie and Ben were married at the beautiful Christ the King and had their reception at one of my favorite indoor venues: Spindletop Hall. It is so gorgeous inside Spindletop that even the bathrooms are amazing to photograph in (I won't tell you which of the photos below were taken in bathrooms, you will have to guess!). Note that the flowers were by the inimitable Hollie Chambliss.
The wedding was beautiful. Christie looked amazing. She absolutely glowed and her smile is so beautiful. The evening was really delightful as well. I loved how there was dancing outdoors. The girls in the bridal party had fabulous hair (I will post photos below, aside from the slideshow of the wedding) and I also saw many cute, cute dresses that I coveted. There was even one guest that I had to take a photo of -- because I loved her dress so much!
